Nutz GmbH records strong growth and expands the Company’s Head Office

In the midst of the pandemic, Nutz records its most successful year in company history. In 2020, turnover increased by 25 % to 46 million euros. The number of employees has also grown strongly – from 280 to 335. Based on current orders and future forecasts – especially regarding the construction industry – interpreted positively means management expects further growth.

Expansion of Management

In order to accommodate this development, Management, together with the Shareholders, decided to create the new position of COO within the management team. This position was filled at the beginning of the year by Christian Eder, previously Head of Sales for Electrical Engineering. As COO, he is now responsible for sales and operations.

Building Expansion in three construction phases

In preparing for the future, another necessary measure was implemented, the expansion of the company headquarters in Ampfing. The expansion, which involves building the complete mirror image of the current building complex, will take place in three construction phases according to current plans.

Phase I – to be started this year and completed in 2022 – two “towers” will be erected along with a connecting bridge over the current staff/car park entrance. This will enable 100 additional jobs to be created relatively quickly and cost-efficiently.

Phase II (administration building) and Phase III (warehouse) will subsequently be tackled, depending on the further development of the company.

Management would like to thank the office of Wolfgang Wenger from Marktl for their construction planning and design and for the visual implementation of our vision. The template for this implementation is the existing company building – designed by the architect’s office of Friedl from Waldkraiburg.
